Earth to Table Farm Wedding Decor – Millgrove, ON
Making a beautiful old farm a part of a wedding comes with its own set of challenges. The Earth to Table Farm in Millgrove was a venue, for example, that did not exactly scream ‘wedding!’ the first time we saw it. That said, dressing it up with the wedding décor selected by the marrying couple made this a very beautiful, memorable event for all in attendance. Captured in photographs here by Jennifer Johnson Photography, we were happy to come through for the bride and groom, handling all the details for them.
Maintaining an uncomplicated wedding décor design, this earth to table farm in Millgrove provided the perfect setting. Combining together floral arrangements provided by Velvet Rope Florals, we used a mix of elements to draw eyes to where the action was and to keep some spaces private for members of the wedding party. The ivory lace linens draped across the head table, the isolated farm location, the rustic wine barrels, and the unforgettable Edison lighting all had a role to play in creating the aesthetic. The list of details to care for in wedding décor is enough to overwhelm most couples who take it upon themselves to make their own wedding happen. When we have the opportunity to help and remove that additional stress, it can take a lot of weight off, and help the bride and groom focus on having the best day possible.
Accommodating the special requests of the couple meant bringing in the gold mercury candles featured in these photos, the glass beaded charger plates popular among many of today’s marrying couples, and the ivory lace runners for the guest tables.
