Time and time again we hear from couples worried about their wedding décor vision coming together. Will their chosen colours work together? Will their colours go with the venue’s décor? Will the bridesmaid dresses clash with the chosen décor? Will the décor products and options they selected fit in with their theme? We hear about these concerns so often we decided to create a process that will help to ease their concerns!
And here is how it works…..
1. We create a Pinterest board for the couple to share their vision with us, the bride and groom can post pictures of what they are envisioning for their wedding day décor, as pictures and ideas get posted we can get a better overall feel for the theme and style that the couple are envisioning and trying to achieve, we also post our own ideas to the board that will fit in with their vision. When all the ideas are in one place it is very easy to spot something that doesn’t quite fit with the overall décor theme.
2) During the consultation we have the opportunity to place different linen options on a table along centrepieces, candles, charger plates etc. to get a feel for the different products and colour selections, we can interchange the options until the couple feel confident with their selections.
When this is still not enough to ease the couple’s minds we have implemented 1 last process that is sure to do the job!
3) We offer in venue design consultations to our clients. What this means is we can meet at the venue the couple has decided to host their wedding at, we can discuss different décor options that will be suitable for the space and set up a mock table within the venue with the selected linen, centrepiece, candles etc. that way the couple can see their choices within the venue’s space.
Between the Pinterest Board that gives an overview of the décor selections, a mock set up during our consultation in the showroom and a mock set up at the venue (if needed), along with our professional opinion to help along the way, we are confident that our clients will feel confident and comfortable with their décor selections.
