We have compiled a list of questions to ask yourself  as well as a little bit of homework to help you better understand if the company you are considering hiring is right for you and your wedding day

1.) Does your style match with theirs? – Do you like the pictures within their portfolio, website, social media accounts etc.? Do their pictures of previous work look like what you had in mind for your wedding? Is their quality of work up to your standards and expectations you have set for your wedding day?

2.) Have you visited their social media accounts? – Be sure to not only visit their website, but also their social media accounts like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Google +, LinkedIn, usually social media is updated with images and information before the website. Do you like the posts and information you see/ Does the account look professional?

3.) Are you happy with their response time to your questions and inquiries? – Is it taking them just hours to return an email or days? Their response time and how detailed they answer your questions is a good indicator of what to expect it would be like to work with them over the months of planning your wedding. Have all of your questions and concerns been addressed thoroughly, and in a timely manner?

4.) Have you done any research on the company? Have you checked out their reviews? … A good place to start is Wedding Wire, Google, Facebook. Also, type in the company name in a Google search this will give you any places that the company has been mentioned, whether it be their social media, blogging, or reviews, find out what information is available to you for that particular company, be sure to check page 2 and 3 of Google not just page 1. Are you happy with the information you have found on the Company?

5.) Did you “click” with the individual you met with? – This is important, you will be working with this person for the next few months preceding your wedding, its important that you enjoy working with them, talking with them and you feel like you’ve been taken care of and are in good hands. Do you feel confident in this company? Do you feel trust? Do you feel taken care of? Do you feel important? Do you feel like they understand you and your vision?

6.) Are you happy with their prices? – The price for the services you are interested in is going to vary from one company to another. Companies base their prices on industry standards and on what they believe is fair for their quality of products, quality of services, experience, expertise and time, therefore you will likely get different pricing from different companies. Are you happy with their pricing based on what you’ve learned about the Company from the suggested research noted above?
Although the price is important, it might not be a good idea to choose a company to work with based solely on their price. Be sure to consider all the other factors because those are just as important when deciding which companies are right for you and your wedding day.

If you can say yes to all of the above questions, then you’ve found the perfect company for you and your wedding!

We hope this information can help you put things into perspective on which companies are right for you and your wedding day!
