Making a design for an outdoor wedding ceremony can be somewhat difficult as there’s the weather to contend with, an open canvas location, and naturally other challenges that present themselves. At Liuna Gardens, we sought to contribute a wedding décor design that was truly timeless and utterly classic.

Putting together wedding décor at the Liuna Gardens meant examining the natural resources available. All in all, the bride and groom opted to choose simple aisle décor, Sheppard hooks, and rose balls as small, additional details to help illustrate the romance of the location. The luxuries that graced the wedding ceremony were simple and delicate, and not overwhelming, which is common amongst outdoor wedding ceremonies.

This wedding décor design utilized kind natural, white hues mixed in with the head table and backdrop that the bride and groom fell in love with during the initial planning process. Crafting this one of a kind design sought to use an existing white, rose, champagne colour palette and transforming it into a customized head table where the bride, groom, and wedding party were to sit. Draped in white, the head table matched a kindly lit backdrop and proved to be a popular focal point over the course of the wedding. When deciding upon a head table, using something like what we had at the Liuna Gardens as a guide is not such a bad idea. The long, rectangular table gave the bride and groom the opportunity to enjoy their own space while still being seated with their wedding party. This particular configuration also accommodated the additional distance between the head table, backdrop and the rest of the guests, which gave the room a little more depth and left the attention on the marrying couple for all to see.

There are a number of perks to arranging a head table like this. The bride and groom get to immerse themselves in the company of loved ones while simultaneously honouring their closest friends and family. It can be a godsend to have one or two of your closest friends nearby to offer emotional support and help calm nerves during speeches and toasts. The exquisite celebration at the Liuna Gardens provided an excellent example of a head table and backdrop design that will settle the jitters while preparing you for an evening of fun and laughter.
