Dreaming up a dream this past year at the Hernder Estate Wines, this wedding design employed a range of decor to produce an effortless, memorable day for the bride and groom. Creating a beautiful, rustic overhead design and employing Edison bulb lighting, this type of grassroots-style wedding décor really helps to set the mood for romance. Mixing the dusty and the organic, the bride and groom were highly excited to see the finished product illuminated under the soft, lush light of the Edison lines strung across the support beams of the room.
Choosing Hernder Estate Wines as the venue for their wedding, the marrying couple wanted detailed wedding décor that was not going to overpower the natural charm of the room. Taken in a photo provided by Stec Photographers, we see an exquisite room even without the additional wedding décor employed. The natural, rustic look of all that surrounded the couple should not be hindered or overpowered by other elements. It was our job to create the perfect piece for a celebration that was going to feel more handmade and personal, and delicately place products in the space that would support and highlight the romance that was already there. Seeing as how this was the client’s inspiration and how they wished to transport their guests into a classy rustic environment, the wedding décor for this wedding was about connecting guests to the natural wood and nature that was used to build this beautiful room.
The Edison bulb lighting may have created a busy centre of the room at Hernder Estate Wines but it was the head table that was the true centrepiece of this wedding décor design. Using the natural light flowing from the window in addition to the fixtures already present, the only thing that had to be done here was to drape the head table and implement details here and there to unify it with the already established colour palette. When it came time for the stunning bride to be to set her eyes on the finished product for the first time, she was floored. The lovely celebration that followed made full use of the space and the wedding décor was highly acclaimed among the guests who attended.
