Combining the rustic with elegance, this wedding at Balls Falls transcended the sun-filled warmth of summer and made it into something otherworldly romantic. The laughter was big, the smiles were bigger, and this wedding was a true highlight for us.

Throughout the course of implementing wedding décor at Balls Falls, we used a lot of the resources available to us from the venue. As we’ve worked with couples seeking a rustic, country-style wedding, many seek out venues such as Balls Falls which assists in communicating an authenticity and a connection with nature. As it pertains to this wedding, this is evident from the moment you walk in and under the barn door draping. These photos, courtesy of Amos Photography, capture just a few of the iconic moments that happened throughout the course of the day, one of which shows the bride and groom nestling up to one another in front of the aforementioned barn door draping.

The backdrop and head table were subsequently developed as focal points to the room, giving the marrying couple and their wedding party some intimacy in a room filled with family and friends. The ceiling draping and related drapery helped to bring out some of the more romantic, elegant touches in this design. The tree slab centrepieces also proved to be quite the conversation piece and were a popular topic throughout the entire meal. Finally the Edison bulb lighting transcended this Balls Falls venue! The strings of lights combined with the stars just outside the barn made for an ultra-romantic setting and highly appropriate for a wedding. The bride and groom played a key role in guiding the wedding décor at Balls Falls, providing insights and information that made the event more personal and unique to them, which was something that made this truly a memorable event. It’s not necessarily enough to have a rustic-themed wedding with wood, lights, and a barn door. There needs to be a meaningful significance behind it all, and the marrying couple found it for them.

If you are looking at rustic wedding décor for yourself or others, Balls Falls is among the more favorable venues to choose to host such a wedding. Highly accommodating, they also played a major role in accommodating the bride and groom, and ensuring that their special day went off without a hitch.
